Worship Schedule/Events
Our Sunday services are at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. with Sunday School at 9:15 a.m. All are welcome and encouraged to join us to share the good news of our Lord and Savior.

Church Council Meeting
Our next Church Council meeting is Monday, October 9, beginning at 7:00 pm. Guests are welcome.

Miller Keystone Blood Drive

Community Meal
The next Whitehall Coplay Hunger Initiative Community Meal will be held at Whitehall Bible Fellowship Church, 3300 7th Street, Whitehall, PA on Tuesday, September 19 from 4-6 p.m.

Over 80 Birthday Party
Our annual BIRTHDAY PARTY for all of our members 80 years and older was another huge success. Everyone enjoyed celebrating the lives of those cherished members of our family of Faith.

The annual Lehigh Valley CROP WALK to benefit the Ecumenical Food Bank will be held on Sunday, Oct. 8, leaving from St. Timothy's Lutheran Church on Ott Street, Allentown with registration beginning at 12:45 p.m. for the 1:30 pm. walk. The food items from here go to our local food pantry. We need someone from FELC to be a Recriter and there is a Recruiter's Kickoff Rally on Sunday, Aug. 27 from 1:30 to 2:30 at St Timothy's Lutheran Church on Ott Street, Allentown. If you are interested in becoming a Recruiter (or part of a team of Recruiters), please let Sue know.

This 6 week seminar for those who are grieving is being offered (free of charge) at Luther Crest (800 Hausman Road) on Monday mornings, 10:30 a.m. to noon, from Oct. 9 through Nov. 6. Registration is required. Call Sylvia Havlish (Lutheran Congregational Services) at 610.395.5045 to register. If you have any questions, contact Pastor Bodnyk.

Yes, we always pray for healing, but there will be special opportunities for prayer on Sunday, October 15. During both services (8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.) after receiving Holy Communion, people interested in a personal prayer can come to the altar rail, where Pastor Bodnyk will pray with individuals. Please note that Pastor Bodnyk is available for personal prayers whenever needed; just ask him.

We will once again have a "Blessing of Pets" on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 15, at 2 pm. downstairs in Parker Hall. Everyone is invited to bring your Tabby's or Fido's or whatever pet you have, and receive a blessing for the pet and caretaker(s). No reservations necessary; just show up, and we will be here!

In recognition of the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation, our Northern Lehigh Mission District is hosting a special service on the afternoon of Reformation Sunday, October 29 at 4 p.m. And you won't have to travel far for the service; it is being held right here at Faith Lutheran. So plan to join us for this special service.

Mark your calendar - NOVEMBER 11, 2017 - 9 am to 3 pm. for Faith Lutheran's Fall Craft Fair. You don't want to miss this fun day with beautiful quilts, amazing crafts and delicious food. The holidays will be just around the corner and you will find perfect gifts for your friends and loved ones. And don't forget yourself - you'll have to restrain yourself from the many temptations. Bring your friends and family - we all look forward to this day.

Next year's Basket Social will be held on the weekend of March 3 & 4, 2018. The first planning meeting will be on Wednesday evening, Oct. 4, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Anyone interested in assisting is welcome to attend. If you would like to be in on the fun, but cannot attend this meeting, contact the chairperson, Stacy Kemmerer.
