SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE
Our Sunday services begin at 9:00 AM, and will continue at that time through Labor Day weekend. There is no Sunday School in the summer.
Our Iron Chefs will be offering Fellowship Breakfasts after worship on Sundays, June 25, July 9, July 23, July 30, Aug 13 and Aug 27.
Church Council Meeting
Our next Church Council meeting is Monday, August 7, beginning at 7:00 pm. Guests are welcome.
Do you have a favorite "old time" hymn that you would like to have us sing? Our second hymn sing will be held on Sunday, Aug 13. There is a HYMN REQUEST SHEET in the narthex for you to add your favorites!
Vacation Bible School
Summer will be here before you know it and it's time to plan for Vacation Bible School. The theme this is year is Maker Fun Factory, Created by GOD, Built for a Purpose. July 24-28, 2017, 6-8 p.m., ages 3 to grade 6. (Children must be potty trained or parent must stay. In cooperation with area faith communities, the July COMMUNITY MEAL sponsored by the Hunger Initiative was held at Faith Lutheran on Tuesday, July 18, from 4 pm to 6 pm. Ninety-two guests were served and 18 volunteers joined the meal. A sincere thank you to all members who helped to make this a success by working and/or baking for this evening. The guests greatly appreciate the hospitality and social time that the meal provides.
Over 80 Birthday Party
Our annual BIRTHDAY PARTY for all of our members 80 years old and over will be held on Wednesday, Aug.23, in Parker Hall, beginning at 5:30 pm. All of the attendees are invited to bring a guest! Please call the church office to register. Light dinner, cake, ice cream and entertainment!
Wheels of Faith Car Show

The annual Lehigh Valley CROP WALK to benefit the Ecumenical Food Bank will be held on Sunday, Oct. 8, leaving from St. Timothy's Lutheran Church on Ott Street, Allentown with registration beginning at 12:45 p.m. for the 1:30 pm. walk. The food items from here go to our local food pantry.
We need someone from FELC to be a Recriter and there is a Recruiter's Kickoff Rally on Sunday, Aug. 27 from 1:30 to 2:30 at St Timothy's Lutheran Church on Ott Street, Allentown. If you are interested in becoming a Recruiter (or part of a team of Recruiters), please let Sue know.
