We are looking for you at worship this coming Sunday, December 4, the Second Sunday of Advent:
Worship at 8:00 am and 10:30 am; The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated at both services.
Sunday School for all ages is offered at 9:15 am.
The annual Christmas Tea will be held in Parker Hall, beginning at 2:00 pm. Reservations are necessary.
Don't forget to check in on FB and let people know where YOU ARE on Sunday mornings! Many of you are doing this, and it's great to see! Let the community know what we are doing here!
The new entry area in the front of the church is beautiful, and should stay that way for years!
A word of caution, however: If you find ourself assisting with ice and snow conditions, DO NOT USE materials like calcium, etc. The only thing to be used for ice until the concrete cures is SAND!!
This year, our Advent midweek worship/study will focus on “The Wonder of Christmas,” an exciting Advent experience that explores the true wonder of Christmas through the lens of four elements of the Christmas story: a star, a name, a manger and a promise.
We will meet on the four Wednesdays of Advent: Nov. 30, Dec. 7, 14, and 21, at 9:00 am at 7:00 pm.
If you cannot attend all the sessions, it's no problem. Come when you are able! Also, there is an optional $9.95 paperback book that goes along with the study; if you would like a copy ordered for you, contact the Pastor. You can also get the book on Amazon-- even in Kindle edition.
